Microbial contaminants analysis
Microorganisms, like tiny bacteria and fungi, are pretty much everywhere around us. They don’t usually cause any harm, but under the right conditions, they can start to grow and multiply, which can become unsafe if consumed. On top of that, some of these organisms can even release toxins when heated or processed.
That's why we meticulously test your cannabis products for various bacteria and pathogens. We’ll verify that the presence of these organisms is either below a safe limit (measured in "colony forming units per gram") or completely absent. It's all about ensuring your product is clean and safe to use.
To sample, we’ll need a minimum of 10g of your flower, concentrate or infused non-edible product, or a minimum of 25g for an infused edible product. Once you’ve completed your order, bring your sample to one of our convenient drop-off partners.
Microbial analysis requires a 48-hour incubation period from the start of sample processing. Please keep this in mind when ordering your test. (You can’t rush biology.)
